If you use this put on two layers because one looks more pink than red.

There were three of these and they all looked the same.
Before tape.
The tape I used. Notice how you can see through it. Kind of pinkish.
I laid the lens down and stuck the tape to the back side of the lense.
Using a singled sided razor I cut the lens out of the tape.
Pretty good I think.

Conclusion.
The tape seems to work good but in the long run who knows.
